I just received a call from Julius, supervisor from Maryland Heating and cooling offering a vent cleanup promotion for $59. Could not find the company online and I told him so to which he replied the website was under construction. I was quite tempted to take the offer but did not feel very comfortable having two men with dubious business background coming to the house. So I asked for their names to do a background check but he said that he would not know who would be assigned to the job next week and how could I do a bground check on his people. When I told him I did not feel comfortable working with his company as I had never heard of them, he suddenly hung up. The guy had a slight South Asian accent; could be from India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, etc. They maybe a small outfit trying to build their business but didn't feel comfortable taking their offer as it is pretty cheap for vent cleaning so it is pretty suspect!!

I got phone call from this number. Since I have caller ID, I called the number back & got a recorded message telling me that the number was no longer in service. What the heck?

Caller ID gave number as 240 318 1508 and said Cleaning Services..No one answered..I called back and no one answered

I bet these folks spoofing your company are the same idiots behind "Air Duct Cleaning" who bombarded our phones for the last few months with the same sort of nonsense.  In that case they used an address that turned out to be a branch of the Montgomery County library system. My question is - what are they trying to gain, our credit card info??  Seems the DNC list cannot do anything about the numerous complaints I have made over the last year or so.  I keep trying - who knows.  Good luck to all.

Received a call from this number , claims to be MD cleaning services who will clean you ducts for $60.  The company or number is not registered.  You may also get a call from 2408883676 (Patel , Mo) also a fake number who will followup with the process .

Called to schedule unlimited duct cleaning for $59.  Said I can check them out with BBB but I cannot find any listing for this company which is supposed to be in Silver Spring but sounds like it is in Asia Minor.    The representative transferred call without my knowledge to someone who spoke better English.  He was courteous but told me his website is under construction and gave me a call back number of 855-432-7122 which I called from another line and it just kept ringing.  My guess is they are just telemarketing generating leads for mom and pop shops, but I passed.

Sorry the number they gave me was actually 855-342-7122.

This number is consistently bothering me.    A man identified  himself as a cleaning service for cleaning vents in homes and wanted to make an appointment.   I told him I was not interested.

Keeps calling periodically.

Please post the address, so under the 1987 Federal Communications Act I can sue them:
It is also considered a Misdemeanor by the Maryland Criminal code for "Harassment via telecommunication means".

Criminal:  Fines, plus imprisonment.
Civil fines:  1st time) Warning.  2nd time)  $500 Fine.  3rd time and each time Thereafter)  $1000 Fine --- to you from the criminal.  

Looks like I can sue them for over $10,000 as soon as you post the address and I can bring them to court.
I have friends who are cops in that area, and if we are successful, I will give you 10% of the winnings from my civil court.


Every time this person calls, I blow a 120 Decibel whistle in his ear as loud as I possibly can, and he immediately hangs up.
I strongly suggest all of you do the same.  This "Fox 40 Whistle" can be picked up at any sporting goods store!

I received a call from 240-318-1508 number on Caller ID with Cleaning Servic.
I don't answer any calls, and had I set up my Answering Machine to pick up after 2 rings. Calls I answer are from known numbers to me.

JUst got 3 calls in aa row  after I had just hung up from a  wanted call.They know you are home and are determined to annoy. I also  get calls three times a day morning noon and eveniing -  no message

Male (I'm guessing middle-aged) with a heavy foreign accent called wanting to speak to the homeowner.  I told him he was and that this is at least the third time he's called about a duct cleaning I don't want (I recognized the voice).  He said, "No, is first time I call."  I checked my voice log:  Previous calls this year on January 29, February 7, 14, and 26, March 26, and April 10 in addition to today, April 16.  Anyone know how to stop this guy?
