My daily call from Frederick, MD on 10/11/2014 @ 12:40 PM. My phone silences the ringer but I'm tired of posting for this number. One more call and they get on the Optimum block list. Then the call is blocked before it gets to my home and I'll be done on this thread.

Tired of these ridiculous calls! Also on a DO NOT CALL list for all the good that does.

Unfriendly ignorant people saying it's Life Alert System.  

Got a call from this number today. I don't answer calls without screening them first.

Glad I looked here, as the caller id only showed the number and unknown name.  These Life alert scammers call me every few weeks and change numbers often which helps support the scam theories.

Previously Blacklisted Medic Alert scammers continue to call and cant get through.
10/13/2014 @ 07:21 PM. Caller ID shows V10131921220043. They switch back and forth between the V number format and Frederick MD. Calls are blocks regardless because it blocks the number not the Caller ID.

Same  message about  Life Alert   I have personally   blocked   multiple  numbers   from the  same   caller as well  as  per  their recording * PRESS 5 to be Removed !!    Called  the  number back  about  20  times  and per instructions  entered  the proper # as instructed  to be removed  from their calling list earlier  today  !! Interesting   just  called  the number  and  now  only  hear  silence  !!  lol !! Maybe  they  blocked  me  from  calling them !!

10/14/2014 @ 05:41 PM. Caller ID shows V10141741410043. They switch back and forth between the V number format and Frederick MD. Calls are blocked regardless because it blocks the number, not the Caller ID.
The end of the V number is constant 0043. The front portion is the date and military time from the timezone the call was made. This changes every second as time passes.
1014 is Oct 14th
174141 is 5:41:41 PM EST.
0043 is the robo caller ID I believe.

Tele-terrorist called again on 10/14/2014 @ 05:41 PM from Frederick, MD. Caller ID shows Frederick, MD. Since they call multiple times a day and I was home I answered and gave the woman a piece of my mind. I hope I ruined her day, but she probably hears it all day long. It don't expect they will stop calling. I could go beyond Blacklisting the number and block it, but I think I will politely waste 10 minutes of their time everything they call back.

They call everyday and although I've requested they stop calling, it continues

I have pressed 5 to remove my number from their calling list every other day for the last 2 months. They still call. So today I pressed 1 to talk to an agent. When he said 'hello' I said "yes sir, i'd like to talk..." and he had already hung up on me. It's ridiculous that they can keep calling and calling when I've followed their instructions on how to opt out of these calls.

I have been telling callers that my number is listed on the Do Not Call lists and not to call again. Twice now I have been told by the callers that the only way to stop the calls is to remove my number from the do not call lists. Said that they use the do not call lists to call from because they are verified good numbers, and numbers on the lists don't get as many solicitation calls. The above number has called many times about a medical alert system, and I get several solicitation calls daily from others. Might try removing my number from the DNC lists, it can't get any worse.

I've received a call from LifeAlert at least once per week for some time now. I usually ignore it because if you press 1 to talk to someone, you are put in a queue (like, 12 callers ahead of you). Today, I waited to talk to an actual person. I explained I am registered on the do not call list and that I am not in the market, so remove me from your list. The guy hung up on me!

CID said Med Advance. Same old scam just a different name and number. I never answer any of them.

The best thing to do is not answer - period. Block the call if you can. But once you answer they know they have a good number. Asking them to put you on their do not call list is a joke. If they were legitimate and you are on the national DNC list they wouldn't call in the first place.

Call your congress person and complain!

My Wife who has Alzheimer's just fell and broke her leg trying to answer a call from these sick thieves.
