240-556-9966 called me on May 14 2009 at 11:04 am.  240 is a Maryland area code.  Strange that a number from there would be calling about a Los Angeles election.  I live in LA but my phone has a DC area code.

got a call from this number.  I did not answer & they left no message.

Number now belongs to teabag whackadoo Willy "dba Joe" Walsh the DeadBeat Dad congressman now running in a new distrct again with financial backing from John Boner and the Kock brothers.

Lastest was an invite to an aryan nation town hall meeting to bash the president.

Delusional Willy joe Walsh just doesn't get it,we never asked him to come to our district and we don't want him here since we were finally free of ambulance chasing DeLay lackey peter RawScum.

Plenty of youtube vids of walsh raging and ranting at voters you dare to question his sanity at previous town halls.Worst was when his gun packing teathug squad forced the league of women voters to recite the pledge at a debate to prove they were real americans.

I don't know why this number is in Maryland when they're calling Illinois residents about local elections.  Sadly, political robocalls are exempt from the do not call list -- the politicians made sure the rules don't apply to them.

This message was about early voting at first and then it was more of a commercial to vote for Dan Patlak for the Cook County Board of Review.  (I remember getting a robocall for Patlak last year too.)  

What's really funny is that, even though I live in Cook County, I am not now nor ever have been a resident of the District which Dan Patlak represents.  

Don't you think that they should try to target those who could actually vote for this Republican instead of bothering everybody in the Chicagoland area?

Received another robocall from this number while I was driving and had to pull over to listen to their drivel.  This message (like yesterday's) started out as a PSA (public service announcement) about early voting taking place now and it even gave the new location of my early voting polling place for my ward (in Chicago).  

However, after that it became a commercial soliciting my vote for, and I think heard this correctly, a committeeman for my ward who is a Republican.  Good luck with that, pal.  The Democrats pwn this city, county, and state (and they're screwing it up big time).

Sadly, these political calls are legal and we're going to be getting a lot more of them this year.  Blech.

I would actually answer political calls if the organization would identify on Caller ID.
