Been calling at 7am my wife has cancer sometimes we're up all nite as sick as she's. Been then I findly get her to sleep and this and by the time I get to the phone thay have hung up would like to get a hold of them gess I'll start in plugging my phone fighting cance is taking every dime we have and I'm sorry if thing run late but her life comes first and I'll deal with these collectors after her time comes but thay are not going to up set her 7 am is supost to be against the law. If you see this number pick up and hang up peaple like this don't deserve any respect or the. Company's that hired them there last on my list to pay

I received a call and the man transferred me to another man and they knew my name. He said he was calling from Midland Credit Management that I owed 500+dollars for a Credit One account. I told him hold up a minute. I don't owe Credit One and do not call me again. I am going to wait and see if they call back. If they do I am going to block their number and report them.

He said BEFORE 8am and AFTER 9pm. Not between 8am and 9pm.

There are days that are off limits and there are times they need to abide by for every state, not just the one they have their office in.  Been there, done that and guess what? I won my case.  So obviously you don't know how to comprehend what is written.

For the past 3 weeks, I have received calls from this number I didn't answer because the number I did not recognize.  Tonight at 9 o'clock p.m. I decided to answer the call.   A person with a horrible accent asked for a person and I said they have the wrong number.

Well that may be true, but the "eastern time" part of it isn't, and the rest of the post is wrong as well.

Fine, then if you "won your case" you should be able to give us the relevant law you are referring to, as well as the state you claim that law is in.  You should also be able to tell us exactly which debt collector you sued and where they are located.  Other than that, I posted my proof of what I said.  Put up or shut up, the ball is in your court.

A call blocker might be of some help.  Voice mail can help as well.  Muting the ringer can  help too.

They keep calling and do not leave a message. I wont ever pick up.

They called my cell today before 6:00 am (I live in Samoa, but have a HI cell phone number, Hawai`i is 1 hour ahead, so it would have been 7:00, according to my area code.) This debt expired years ago. In the beginning I had an arrangement with Midland or whatever other name they went by, but the foreign guy (not sure if calling from India or Bahamas?) popped off and said "b*tch" under his breath when I informed him I wanted to record the call/arrangement etc. B*tch? Really? Dude!! After that, I told him his momma was, not me & to stick it up his butt and go ahead and ruin my credit...I owe so much in student loans, I don't even qualify for any kind of credit anyway...most likely never will!!! Don't get me started on the student loan sh*t...that's criminal!!! I could have attended a Community College and got the same crappy job I'm doing now, minus the nearly $90,000 in student loans. Higher Education...yeah right.

I have filed complaints against Midland. The lawyer who filed my bankruptcy has filed complaints. He advised me to throw away letters from them and block their calls. I can file a lawsuit but I am barely able to pay my bills and doctors. I just can't handle the stress of putting up with them

A lawsuit against them would cost you nothing up front because in the end they pay your attorney's fees.  Most attorneys will take this on a contingency basis.  I would suggest you consult with an attorney that specialized in FDCPA suits.  You should be able to sit down with one for a consultation at no cost as well.  I have to wonder about the competency of your bankruptcy attorney and the advice that he gave you.  Something doesn't sound right there.

I did not answer a call from an unknown number. Caller ID was blank. They did not leave a message. Probably a spam call. Blocked.

These scumbags are lower then whale crap, if they really are debt collectors or not, they are definitely scammers! I never answer and they never leave message, let them waste their time.
