I was called and received the same response ; " I am sorry I must have the wrong number."

I have noticed that now that my business number has been listed that I have received a number of these annoying phone calls from credit card merchants looking to hock their goods to you, all for a low introductory rate. Funny, but if I continue to have to take their calls I won't even be able to afford their "low introductory rates"  

A note to David the Real Estate Agent from "right here". I am not quite sure how you write up contracts, as another real estate agent, please use spell check. The Real Estate industry has a bad enough reputation for being a bunch of dim wits that couldn't get any other type of job, and the lack of proper English in your posting is exactly why people believe as they do.

I am getting tired of this number calling my house and saying they must have dialed the wrong number.

You can register land line phones and cell phones.
Your registration will not expire. Telephone numbers placed on the National Do Not Call Registry will remain on it permanently due to the Do-Not-Call Improvement Act of 2007, which became law in February 2008.
 

Then file a complaint with them, if enough people do this the caller/callers get contacted by the Federal Trade Commission. The phone calls will stop.

Just complaining or leaving messages here without contacting the “National Do Not Call Registry” is a waste of time and doesn’t help anyone stop this caller harassment.

Register on the “National Do Not Call Registry” then report all your telemarketer calls there also.

I think those clawns look for people to answer the phones, and that system discriminates those numbers from fax mchines, and answer machines.
