Repeated calls.  Seems to be no way to get off the list.

this call is constant, a senior alert.  it is a robocall

I called the number back 2 times and it has push this prompt if you wish to stop receiving these calls and I did. Well it called back again and I wanted for the message to be over and told the guy on the phone to stop calling this number or I'd contact the Attorney Generals office and report them. He laughed. I contacted and reported them for calling a Do Not Call Number.

These scums don't give a rip about any laws or DNC list. Besides the Fed Trade Comm (DNC People) don't investigate or prosecute any one. They simply gather reports.

My phone service lets me selectively forward calls from designated numbers - so These jerks are being forwarded to the FTC switchboard. Let them take the calls.
Some I forward to the State AG office, my congressman's office, or my senator's office. Unfortunately I can only forward 12 numbers. So I rotate them. Congress & senate don't do anything anyway so let them earn their keep by dealing with robo calls and scum bags

Because the DNc  is just a list.  It doesn't block anyones unwanted callers..   Just a list...
I would recommend getting a call blocker for that purpose.

You need to go to the DNC site and read/learn something about what it's for and how it works.

You need to google FTC sites and read about those prosecuted because of the dnc.  Quite a few there.  
They do in fact prosecute but first they have to have  to document enough complaints to establish patterns,  pursue,  and then prosecute when enough evidence to convict has been aquired.
In 2012,  the woman who headed up one of the "megan"  credit card services sites was prosecuted.  She got 17.5 years in prison,   her husband got  10 years for abeting,  and several workers got 2 years each.   The past couple months (as reported on this board) has had one of the "Rachel"  credit card scammers busted in Florida,  also
International cooperation arrested some of the scammers in India.    Not perfect but it does help.

I listed an item on eBay, and it "sold" in 5 mins, to a new member (that day), who claimed to be someone named Janet Williams.  She/they created a fake PayPal email that said the funds had been deposited into my PayPal account.  But, the amount that was supposed to have been paid was way more than I invoiced AND they suddenly wanted me to ship the item to Nigeria to a Peter Williams.  The extra money was supposed to pay for USPS Express International shipping.  EBay & PayPal confirmed that it was a "phishing" scam, and said not to ship the item, (until the funds showed up in my account, which they never did!)
Report this caller to the police or whoever will listen!!!!  HUGE SCAMMER!!!!!

It's an "are you" scammer, they call with pre-recorded conversation to make it sound like you're talking to a real person.  They want you to tell them your name so they can connect your number to a real name.  The caller ID is hijacked.  Don't give them any info.
