Called and asked if they could speak to someone whose name I've never heard of. I told them that she doesn't work there, and was told that they would "make a note." Not sure if it's a legit company or a spam/scam company making a bogus story to see if our business exists and then trying to sell something later. I don't see a business with this phone number listed on any search engine.

Kim from Merchant Funding - took a couple of times to get this.  Not speaking very good English.  Wanting to talk with John the owner about business finances.  After numerous questions, found out it is Merchant Funding & they want to only send info on non-traditional business loans.  I advised not interested and please take off the list.
