This nunber sent herassing text messages

texted me wanting to buy something by sending a cashiers check and then they would send movers. Isn't this scam too old to get anyone anymore?  Then they got rude when I started asking questions.  Losers.

I got the same message today from a guy named Evans looking to purchase my rims. He said he would send a cashiers check to my house and 30 dollars extra to hold them for him til I receive the check, then his mover would come get them

i got a text from this number in regards to rims I have for sale on Craigslist. The texter called theirselve Evans. He said he would pay asking price plus $30 more to hold item until he sends cashiers check to me, then I could contact him and have the mover come pick them up. I haven't replied yet, but is there any way to stop or nail these s.o.b's that way they can't prey on someone else. Is there any way to set them up or help get them caught. How should I reply or what can I do?

texted me about craigslist services - especially vague and had no specific work in mind - just an excuse to be able to send a fake cashiers' check.

Same as above, texted me to fix HP Laptops. Said to format Hard drives, install Win7 with all updates, MS Office, AVG Anti-Virus, Adobe Acrobat, Clean the laptops (Keyboard, screens, case). Offered me a cashiers check and shipping. I knew it was a scam as I have received other scam offers before. I reported this to https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/. If you are scammed, you should do the same.

Totally a scam. Do NOT do business with this person.

I just had someone with that EXACT email and name. Except they just tricked me by saying they wanted me to take care of their dogs. I feel so stupid i should have checked first
