I literally just bought this cell phone and was assigned the number two days ago and already getting unwanted calls. No caller ID other than the number.

Me, too! I got my new service from AT&T (prepaid) a week ago. It certainly didn't take long for scammers to start calling me. (I never answer unrecognized calls -- even if the number looks like it's next door.)

This number called an unlisted cell phone used only for limited purposes, so clearly was a robo call.  No message.

I saw a caller id with this number and answered just to see what it was.  No voice, no sounds, after about 20 seconds, the call hung up.

Number called me at 6a PST, left no message. Blocking number. *6a in the morning though. Ridiculous.

Got a call from this number on my work phone. Didn't answer, no voicemail.

Inbound to a mobile number.  Did not pickup, as I did not recognize (standard practice).  No VM left.  Waste of electrons.

This call came to my biz phone. After saying my standard greeting, there was no response although I could hear some faint background sounds. I repeated my biz greeting, still nothing. They hung up. Blocked

Received a call from this number... but it appears in my caller list formatted as  +253 20 16 95 4. I Googled it in this format and found that 253 is the *country code* for Djibouti, Somalia (Africa) as well as an area code in western Washington state. No way to tell for sure if the call was from scammers in Somalia or just a bad business decision by an insurance company to use aggressive telemarketing. Doesn't matter... I'm not answering or calling back either way! Blocked.

Said his name was "Jason" from "Consumer Insurance Associate".  After friendly greeting he asked what my zip code was!  Asked him to not call again and hung up.  A search on Google shows the name "Consumer Insurance Associates" many times,  but I could find no currently operating legitimate business.  The name is listed as inactive, or claim your business, on Yelp and other marketing websites. I could find no current website for this company, and any old listings do not use this phone number.  BEWARE.
