I received the same phone call Yesterday as above, but they wanted $874. Of course they wanted my credit card number over the phone that I DID not provide....but they had all my other information, my employer, phone number, address, email address and social.  Now what do I do? Should I go get a new social...do they even do that? They spoke very broken English.. that was my tip off, among other things. I can't wait for them to call me back, so I can let them know that I have reported them to the authorties.

WOW THESE PEOPLE ARE REALLY SCAMMERS! I HAVE GOTTEN CALLS FROM THIS GUY NAME RICHARD KEITH, STEVE ROBERTS AND ETC. GUESS WHAT THEY ALL SOUND LIKE THE EXACTLY SAME PERSON, SMH! HES TELLING ME THAT I OWE $741.00 FOR A PAYDAY LOAN, YET HE CANT TELL ME WHAT COMPANY I SUPPOSELY OWE. IT GETS BETTER, HE THREATENS TO FILE FEDERAL CRIMINAL CHARGES AGAINST ME, CONTACT MY EMPLOYER SO THEY CAN TERMINATE ME AND THAT HE WILL CONTACT THE LOCAL POLICE DEPARTMENT IN MY AREA. TO BE HONEST IT SOUNDED REALLY TRUE UNTIL I STARTED TO THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX AND PUT 2 IN 2 TOGETHER. IM NOT PAYING THESE PEOPLE ANYTHING, I DIDNT BORROW NOTHING. AND I WILL BE REPORTING THESE PEOPLE, FOR INPERSONATING THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. GOOD LUCK TO U GUYS AND PLEASE BE SMART AND DONT GET SCAMMED!!!

My call from these people was the same - thick Indian accent, claims to be from the "Attorney General Law Firm," threats of arrest, jail time, getting fired if I don't pay, etc.  

I've reported this to the FTC, the state attorney general, and filed fraud alerts on all 3 credit reporting agencies.  I've had to close my bank account - which is an enormous hassle with direct deposits, and automatic withdrawals - but no other choice.

They will not give up they will just call you from a different area code but they are scam dont give them anything just laugh at them and make fun of them and have some fun sometimes i call them just too check on them they hate that but i love it.They call me american [***] stupid arab or whatever they are if you can hear me kiss my but

Only legitimate telemarketers abide by the Do Not Call list. DNC Works only as effectively as outlawing the possession of guns and drugs illegal.

My grandparents purchased an extended warranty from this company and were completely taken advantage of. The warranty was misrepresented at the time of purchase and my grandparents did not receive the coverage they were promised when they needed it the most. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone else. These businesses are designed to find the reason they can't help you and they write the contract in such a way that the law allows them to commit legalized fraud. Their customer service is nonexistent and they offer no support. Complete scam!
