They call saying they have a litigation against you. This is totally a scam

Asked him to take my number off the list as I know this is a scam. He replied that I should not have that attitude with him if I would like hiim to do anything. I gave him my number and he stated that he pulled up my case and that he was going to try to help me out but beings that I was being so rude he would have the papers sent right out. I asked to please send them. He advised me to please have 2 pieces of ID ready and not to resist or the authorities will be called.

They have called twice now and are threatening with Lawsuits and such. They said at the end "this is an official notice" and tell me that I will be guilty should I not call them back. I haven't called them back because this is a scam. I've never been sent written notice or anything. Until I see proof, I will not be calling

This is the same kind of scam call my husband and I have been getting for months. Always the same story that he got an Internet loan in 2011 and didn't pay it back. They threaten to have him arrested for it. It's all a lie, my husband never has applied for or recieved a loan on the internet. They try to claim I was listed as a cosigner or reference on the loan, which is impossible since I did not even meet my husband until late 2012. They refuse to send any documentation (which is illegal) and demand payment over the phone or they will send out the police to arrest him.

I just laugh at them. First of all the police don't show up to arrest anyone without a court order. You can't get a court order without a hearing, which you have to be properly notified about first so you can attend and defend yourself. And the first thing a judge will ask is if you were notified of and given proof of a debt. If a collection agency cannot show they sent you proof of the debt, a judge will throw the case out of court.

I told them this and they still claimed they were sending over a officer to arrest my husband. It's been months and still have yet to have anyone from either the Lakewood Police or Pierce County Sheriff show up at our door.

Got a threatening phone call from some [***] saying I committed some type of fraud and I was going to be served by sheriff's for something.  Guy was so stupid I had to laugh. The same thing happened last year.  Supposedly for sone card I obtained false k y in 2003.  12 years ago?  One word SCAM this guy is a punk.
