Market Research for Enterprise

I suggest that everyone who receives a call from them should jam them.  Block your outgoing caller ID - usually *67 - and keep calling them.  If they do answer, tell them that you are busy right now and ask for their home phone number and what time they will be eating dinner so that you can call them at that time.

I would do the same with their opt-out 800 number.  Sometimes businesses have to pay per call on a toll-free line.

Whatever you do, don't give them your number, even to opt out.  All that does is tell them that it is an active number.  In California we have a way to designate our numbers as "do not call" for telemarketers.  Be sure you are on it - you need to renew every year or so - and report every "illegal" call.  The state does not respond to every complaint, but when there are numerous complaints, they claim that it gets their attention and then they do something.

I got a call from this number on my cell phone about a week ago. They gave me the number of a "do not call" list so I called up the number, added my number to the list and now a week later I get another call from them. How the hell do these people get our cell phone numbers???

This is a survey company for Enterprise Rent A Car. They ask two questions if you answer. They apparently don't leave a message if you don't answer.

For what it's worth, I just bought a new car (Lexus) and they told me I would be getting a call with a survey.  I'm guessing this is it.  I didn't pick up when they called me just now.

This phone number belongs to a public utility named CallerID4U, Inc., which is run by Paul Maduno and Luis Martinez.  They have entered into revenue sharing agreements with telemarketers who make illegal unsolicited telephone calls.  They profit directly from these outbound unsolicited telephone calls.

This appears to be a clear violation of a number of laws, including 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

Recieved a call from this number.  According to the posts it is Enterprise rental.  I recently had a rental car from them and after returning the car the agent asked me if I would give feedback if they called.  I said I would.  If I get call from this number I will answer and if it is not from enterprise I will post again, and then block the number.  At least it wasn't from rachel at credit card services.

Just got a call from this number at 8:35 pm. I work nights and was just getting a nap before work. Didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer. Shouldn't be allowed to call so late!

I did just rent a car from Enterprise, so maybe that is what it is! I'll answer the phone next time they call to make sure! Thanks for your research!!!

Got a call from this number, but no voice mail was left.  If it was Enterprise Rental, that would make sense ... I rented from National Rent a Car in New York earlier this week ... Enterprise owns National.

When they call I just keep saying hello like I can't hear em. Sometimes when they ask for so and so I just set the phone down. They eventually hang up. I sometimes use an accent (really good at that) and ask over and over who is calling please. My list is endless. I'm tired of getting upset over the fact I can't stop these irritating calls so I've made it a game. I am on the National Do Not Call List. That's another joke...

Got call from 243-235-2707.  I did not recognize the call.  So, here is how I answered:  "Pizza Hut, how may I help you?"  Caller said in a fading voice while hanging up, "What the f___k.  I called Pizza Hut."
