Called during dinner... hung up when I answered. The ID is LFG Group. I am on the do not call registry and I am very careful who I give my number to. I think this is a phishing scam.
A couple of days ago I got a call from another 253 area code that just read Customer Service. When I looked that one up I found it was a credit card scam. These are probably the same guys.

Called 8:05 PM ET tonight. No message, did not recognize name so wife did not answer it.

They called at 11 pm. I didn't pick up. Caller ID said LFG Group - Googled it. Insurance and financial services. [***].

call came in 813pm into lisa angeles california. called back said temp unavailable. annoying.

Got this call on my land line.  No name on caller id, just the number.  I have had several calls from this number, so I answered just to see what it was.  Take a survey, win a trip.  Yeah, right.  Didn't listen to much of it.  How does this get past the DO NOT CALL list?

Called my SKYPE number twice, left no message.

I too received a call from this number last night at about 8:30pm.  The caller ID said “Out of the Area” but the most upsetting thing is they manipulated the Ringtone on the phone to make it One Continuous Ring.  When I did pick it up and answer the call no one was there, the line was open and finally it sounded like someone quietly hung up .  I know it is the scammers again, I have had a problem with them.  I keep spreadsheets of all the calls that I receive along with as much information I have.  
The scammers do not pay attention to the DNC  list.  I do not receive calls from legit telemarketers.   I have made my share of complaints to the FCC, FTC , Police  and phone company.  
Most of the calls are spoofed and coming from outside of the country per the phone company and the  police dept. so there is not much they can do, but it is not a good idea to call these number back you might be calling overseas and could run up some very high phone bills.
I just don’t understand why these scammers keep calling and calling the same numbers when they get nothing out of it.  They are scum that is for sure.

Got a call yesterday from this number.  Digitone Call blocker blocked it.  I have the entire 253 area code blocked because I get numerous nuisance calls from 253.

My number goes out to no-one! And they don't have my consent to call anytime also, I'm not, I repeat not in debt to anyone. So why are they calling me?

Lease Financial Group  ---- Scam artists they'll set-up lease agreements through third party entities Falsify their records to either make the transaction vanish or forge a signature on the lease papers and start calling people for the merchandise or billing an unsuspecting consumer for the deal. So Becareful

It seems to be doing a lot of calling today. I had only 5 rings before they hung up -- I actually did not get to the phone before they disconnected. I'm sure this is a robot trying to verify that a number is in service

Same thing here. They called my office number which belongs to an attorney.
He took the information and will be contacting the FTC regarding these calls.
It is illegal and they can receive a hefty fine too. So call your attorney general's office, report the date, the time the call came in and the number.
If they get enough complaints, the attorney general's office will locate the owners and fine them.
Simple as that!!

Received call @0623 on July 11.  Did not answer.  Want to stop immediately this caller because I do not know if it is a company or a person.

called on my land line.  i did not answer.  it went to the answering machine.  message was a recording saying i could win a 2 day cruise to the bahamas if i'd take a survey.  It said i could press 9 if i wanted off the calling list.  could not do that from an answering machine.  called the number and it is not a working number.

Received call from 253-382-9938, 4:33 PM (CST) July 11, 2012 on my Cell phone.  I HAVE REGISTERED & RE-REGISTERED MY CELL # WITH the "Do Not Call Nmber".  Apparently it does no good as this isn't the first call from this survey ? company out of WA Sea/Tac area.  I've complained to the FCC in the past, and will do it again as this agrivates the U NO What out of me!!

This number called at least 2 of our cells yesterday one hour apart neither answered and no message left. My phone said Tacoma WA

If you get a robocall:

Hang up the phone. Don't press 1 to speak to a live operator and don't press any other number to get your number off the list. IF YOU RESPOND BY PRESSING ANY NUMBER, IT WILL PROBABLY JUST LEAD TO MORE ROBOCALLS.

Consider contacting your phone provider and asking them to block the number, and whether they charge for that service. Remember that telemarketers change Caller ID information easily and often, so it might not be worth paying a fee to block a number that will change.
