I received a call from this number earlier today with the caller ID showing as "Async". A recorded message was left stating that our "auto warranty was about to expire" and to "press 9" if I didn't wish to receive more calls in the future...

...essentially it was either just another auto warranty scam company that covers things you'll never need or that are next to impossible to collect on if you do or it's a scam to take your money or personal info.

Do not ever "press 9" to opt out and don't answer these calls as that just tells them you are a "hit" and your number will be marked as such. Then you will go on a list that is sold to other such companies and you'll get even more unwanted Robo telemarketing scam calls.
