Got a call from this number today.  Said they were the IRS and we owed money, not, and that they were filing suit.  I've heard of this scam and of course did not call them back.  Just reporting the number for others to be aware.

Got a call tonight from the same people with the same message.  Just don't call it back!!!  It's a scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got a call from 253 656 4769  said they that the IRS is filing suit against me and to call them back.  Don't fall for it even if you owe them money, the call is a scam!!!!!

My answering machine only recorded part of the message so I only heard the part about my :"case file" and the telephone number. I Googled the number and here I am making a report.

Received a call saying they are from the IRS and that they were filling a lawsuit,  I disregard the call, then they called again with a different number. I called the one number and it went to automated recording to call back.

I must be on someone's idiot list.  This is the 2nd call, each time with a new number.  They claim to be the IRS but refer to themselves as Internal Revenue ServiceS.  Always states it is a final attempt to contact me and that they are suing me.  THIS IS A SCAM.  PLEASE REPORT THESE CALLS BY 1)  Emailing the real IRS at: phishing@irs.gov (Subject: 'IRS Phone Scam')  AND  https://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml
