This group calls all the time, they always change the area and phone# they call from, in hopes that they can trick you into picking up. It's always an automated message about some loan repayment options. Sounds totally bogus, and is a crap marketing call. I just block these every time they call with a new number and it has slowly helped reduce the amount of these calls I get. Unfortunately, they do have an option to be 'removed from the list' but of course no matter how many times i select this option, it never works. Hope someone has better luck than I did!

Called for like 5 seconds and then hung up. No voicemail.

I did the same thing; as I do for all numbers unlisted in my file.
Respectful callers leave messages; even to apologize for having misdialed.
When I receive VM for some unknown person//entity, I take the time to notify the source.
Some folks might want to volunteer their time, and invest the costs of their phone services in helping humanity!

Called and asked to speak with Charles which is my husband and when I said such they hung up without another word. This is our office phone and they need to stop.
