Did the same to me!

Told me the truth is that Vladimir Putin is now the onlly man on earth who can save me.  "You lie!" I cried, "Putin a man? Is he not a god? And besides, to quote Tovarish Bulgakov: что правда?"  Hung up without an answer.

two missed phone calls from this number & no message.

Two reasons possible. First, if you have a cable or phone company and you have it setup to filter out known spam/scam calls, that one ring means it is being forwarded to either your voice mail or to a "phone not in service" message. We have that setup and it works good. Sometimes it is turned on automatically by your phone provider and you have to turn it off by going to your cable or phone company's account security setting page to turn it off.

The other, sometimes a one ring call is a scammers PBX phone software checking to see if it get's the "do dooo dooooo" out of order message. If that is it, expect to receive some recorded scam calls in the future with a free prize, FBI warning, Support a cop/fireman (fake charity) or you have important legal documents need to be delivered (Pay first though), etc. The bad thing about the one ring calls is they more than likely will sell your number to other scammers. This time of year, just 11 weeks until Christmas, there are companies that only do phone checks for working numbers to sell to scammers and telemarketers as good numbers within the last 60 days for higher prices.
