This is a call from the scammers that are using a soundboard with a prerecorded sales pitch. There is a person (foreigner?) monitoring the call. You can play with them by asking their name and company name over and over. Then you can ask if they are a robot. They will have some snappy retort. If they haven't hung up by now, then ask them to say "I am not a robot". See how long you can keep them on the line. Then tell them that he has to learn how to use the soundboard better. That will usually end the call.  If you don't know what a soundboard is, you can find out on Google.

Got a call from this number saying they were from Social Security asking questions to see if I qualified for getting a new payment of $2600 a month
I asked why and call was disconnected immediately

Decided to answer this call, why I don't know, maybe in hopes that I could get on their do not call list. It was a recorded message, starting out by asking if I could hear her. I did not answer. Then she went on a spile about a free Bahamas cruise, when I said I wanted to get off their list, they hung up. Tried to all back, call did not go through.
I get a lot of junk calls from AC 262.
