received a text message claiming to be from the Illinois Tollway advising I have an unpaid tollway violation. Checking my account, funds are in place and I haven't driven the tollway for almost 5 weeks

This number texted me that I owed tolls in Illinois. Haven’t lived there for over 10 years. Scam text, I guess.

Received  a text this morning  claiming I have a 75.00 IL toll balance. Click on the link to settle it for 7.95.

Received text regarding a toll owed or pay 10x fine. Haven't been on toll road in Illinois. There is no record you can look at as to what/where this is all about.

I did too. Haven’t been anywhere where we’ve gone through any Go Fund Me areas. Gosh! People are so mean. Sorry it happened to you too. I just got the text and  decided to do  research and ran across what you wrote. Take care.

This # tried to send me a document file; had to look up the area code. Did not open it.

I got same message. Scam!!!

Text claiming I owe for fastTrack. Asked for my DL number which didn’t make sense. Glad I looked this up. Scam

Just received a text about owing a toll fee to the Pennsylvania Turnpike, which I know I haven't been on recently, if ever as a driver

I received the exact message. I use EasyPass, haven't been on the PA Turnpike in over a year, and was suspicious about receiving this text on a Sunday evening from a supposed government agency.
I looked up the number that sent the text to see if others had received a similar notification and evidently there are many of us.
