Text message from a Quebec area code about owing money for using FasTrak with a link to bayareafastrak.com (fake) instead of the real site at bayareafastrak.org.

Same.  With link to pay $7.99 before it goes up by $79.99.  Obviously fake.

Received a text message to pay past due tolls for PA turnpike. I did not click the link for fear of malware.

I also got a text message about an overdue balance with the PA Turnpike.  I don't drive the turnpike, so this is bogus.

Received a text stating I owe $86 for turnpike toll. I don't drive the turnpike.

Got text from 263-788-8906. Claims I owe toll PA Turnpike $8.60. If don't pay bill becomes $86.00.  This is a SCAM!

Was just text from 263-788-8906 claiming I owed for tolls on the Pennsylvania turnpike. Said I had 8.60 in unpaid tolls if not paid it will increase to 86.00.

A few minutes ago, I received a text saying Pennsylvania Turnpike Tolls Services,  our records indicate that your vehicle has an unpaid toll invoice. To avoid additional charges of $86.00, please settle your balance of $8.60 at

Email stating unpaid pa toll and if not paid additional tax would be added.

As a I've scam text stating unpaid toll of $8.60 and threat of $86 in additional charges. PA turnpike does not have bill in their web address, and it would be billed by EZPass not "Pennsylvania Turnpike Tolls Services" . And although I have recently used the PA turnpike, I have a transponder and even if I didn't EZPass bill by mail not by text

Same. They said I owed an invoice of $8.60 to avoid additional $86.60 charges then the link.
