This 267-339-0740  called my home, tonight, at 9:00pm.  Caller ID said Survey Tech.  I quickly zap the number on second ring, and Block it.

I did a lot of Google Research, and found several listings and 2 BBB Listings, as follows:

-    On Dec 04, 20216, one White Page message has this Alert,!  “’One Ring’ Phone Scam Could Cost You” The Better Business Bureau is warning of a scam that has spread like wildfire throughout the US. The ploy is being called the 'one ring' scam as it involves people receiving missed calls on their phone from scammers who call and then hang up. If you call the number from the missed call back, you are connected to a caller-paid toll service or chat line outside the country. You might only hear music and/or audio advertising, but you will pay dearly for it, at least $19.95 and possibly more depending how long you stay on the line. Mark Fernandes, spokesperson for the Better Business Bureau advised that people play it safe with numbers they don't recognize. “If a call comes from a suspicious number people should disregard it, especially if they don't recognize the area code. DO NOT CALL BACK OR YOU MIGHT BE UNKNOWINGLY CHARGED.” People are advised to check their phone bills to see if there are any unknown charges and report anything suspicious to their phone company and authorities.

called last night around 8. Rang 2 times & hung up. No message.

Called at 7:54 pm. Rang once and they hung up. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize so it's just as well with me. Block the number and on to the next one.

Hung up on answering, blocking number.

Kept having missed calls from this number at the exact same time for 3 days in a row, no message. Finally answered, a woman said she was with CBS and was taking a poll, I immediate told her to remove my information from their call list.

I need to know how to get on a don't call list .   Thanks

Caller has called twice at approximately 7:30 PST.  Irritating!  No message; tonight the call sounded like a "boiler room"; I could hear others in the background laughing. Blocked the number!

Periodically receive unwanted calls from this number - never answer and will now block it.

Receive a call from this phone number daily for last month.  Name on caller id is "SURVEY TECH"

Calling my DNC mobile number daily in evening: now blocked!

Needs to stop

Repeatedly called for over a week.  Varying times of day.  One day I answered and it sounded like a pocket dial (person speaking sounded far away and did not say, "Hello?" when I didn't speak).  Blocked the call using my cell provider.  Next day I received a call from a different number and hit ignore.  We'll see if that one persists too.

Years ago I worked for one of those telephone telemarketing research companies, and they do try to get representative samples from all age groups.  So if your age group had already met the quota that they need, they won't continue with the interview.

They also would have discontinued the interview if they had found out that you are a Carmax employee since they want the answers to be as unbiased as possible.

Having said all that, after I stopped working there (which was only a temporary part time job to rake in a little extra cash), I became very irritated with the number of times I would get calls from other research companies, vowing to never work for them again.  I don't want to be somebody who I would hang up on!

Got a call from above number said they were represented npr national broadcast co - asked questions on white race - if discrimination if you are white as to doctors offices, education hospital, etc when got into personal info did not give info - these people should be investigated - possible recording voice for illegal purposes - be aware.

This phone no. calls me at work all the time.

Calling every night the last 5-6 evenings. I never answer, they only left 1 message of elevator  music. Annoying as hell
