Saturday I was notified my bill is due from Verizon. I have received 2 emails 4 text messages and 3 phones calls..... It is a tad ridiculous for a over due balance of $134.00

They called twice when I wasn't paying attention to my phone and didn't leave a voice mail.  I luckily finally caught the call and it said it was Verizon Wireless trying to collect a past due bill, from my boyfriend who just passed away.  I haven't exactly had time to call all his accounts and shut them down, so I decided to stay on the line and explain the situation, even though I still am unsure how they got my number in the first place.  When I chose the option to stay on the line and speak to a representative it hung up right away.

They have started calling again...I was under the impression my boyfriend's dad had taken his death certificate to a store and had the account closed which is what I was told to do.  Since he was an adult and we were not married we are not responsible for paying his past due bills.  This is unfair because it is bad enough he is gone, but to still be harassed by these people is absurd.  Especially because I am on a much needed vacation with my family and the calls literally started when I was on the plane, adding much stress and anxiety to a time I should be enjoying myself.

I have PTSD and Major Depression and psychosis what the hell is wrong with them I'm sending cease and desist and if they contact me again my lawyer will be suing them.

They called twice today and it's only 11:00am.  My bill was due yesterday and has been sent in, I have been a customer for a long time and if they are going to harass me like this for a bill that just hasn't got to them yet and is 1 day late then I will cancel and switch to a different company, I'm not going to tolerate that, it's ridiculous!!

Every day my phone rings and there is no one there.  When I did get a human, I informed her that I have not had Verizon in 8yrs.  I asked that a bill be sent so I could determine if it was legit. Angeline (the human) then hung up on me.
