A non-listed number supposedly from Ambetter asking you to call another toll-free number 855-919-0684 asking you to submit "important information". I called the 855 number but it is very suspicious because it does NOT ask you for your policy number, it wants your phone number. I have had legitimate calls from Ambetter but this recording seems very unusual.. I try to call into Ambetter a few minutes after the initial call to verify that the call is legitimate by Ambetter but Ambetter is closed.  Very odd.

Automated message saying it's from Ambetter asking you to call a different number. I called Ambetter after and they had no record of having sent a call.

This is a scam. Ambetter is aware but they are investigating, which is taking a long time. DO NOT CALL, DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION. They already have your name and phone number, they are just trying to build a sufficient profile to steal your identity.

Allegedly from Ambetter trying to get me to call some other # to give some information.  I am not an idiot and have been ignoring this call for weeks.  They always leave a message.  I am actually an Ambetter customer (unfortunately, because its worse than Medicaid).

Left a message claiming to be ambetter, requesting to call back and submit ‘important information’. Called ambetter using the number on the membership card and, after verifying my account was up to date and no info was needed I was informed that their vendors will call you directly to push products. You have to ask to be taken off of this, as it is in their privacy policy that they can do so.

I received a call from this number saying that it is an Important message and to call 855-919-0684, I called the number I have for Ambetter and the representative I talked with could not find any notes in my records that they had called or needed any information from me regarding my account. It is obviously a scam.

Had the exact same call. Put it on block list. So far, Ambetter has handled everything by mail.

Computer call that addressed me by name (creepy) and, as the others reported, requested that I call another number to provide "important information."  After reading the posts here, I blocked the caller and have no intention of calling them back.

Thank you for your post.  It explains a lot.  My wife has AmBetter, I am on Medicare.  It is my understanding that her account is set up with me as being granted full access to her account.  It is a longer story, but her account was set up with my cell number.  Shorter version, her native language is Spanish and her English is still a work in progress.

Anyway, I have received other calls from "AmBetter", and they refused to tell me why they were calling.  I have always told them that if they look in the records, they will see that I am granted full access to her information.  They always seemed confused by that, and unable to pull up the records, despite stating this numerous times during the various calls.

Now I know why.  The other calls were not really AmBetter.  They have in essence sold her information.  And while I did not explicitly state this previously, I also received a call from this number today.

Same thing everyone else is saying. Got a call from this number, I sent it to voicemail.  They left a message asking me to call 855-919-0684

By the sound of the voice, There was a robot answering with yes and no question.

This number is calling me frequently and appears in my caller Id  on my cell from Pennsylvania. I do not answer, as I've heard there is q group calling indivisuals and if you so much as answer they can scan your mobile phone for your any info that you've used on your mobile. Like bank info and SSI #, address ext... Please let fruends and familys know!!
