They are selling something... but if you call the number back you can be placed on the do not call list.

These people are relentless, they call and call and call........ Thank God they're calling my Magic Jack phone #, which I never have hooked up, I just continually get e-mails telling me that I have received messages from this #, and then I check the VM and it is indeed someone telling me I can get lower credit card rates, YEAH RIGHT, with my credit, I seriously doubt it. LOL

The caller calls me everyday. It's very annoying

I've received 2 calls today. They are pre-recorded offers to "lower your credit card rates". The first time I pushed "1" (I think) and talked to a sales rep. I asked how and why this # is on the list. She said that the company buys contact lists and there's nothing she can do about removing the #. The second time I followed the advice in a post on this site: I called the # and followed the directions to be removed. I don't know if that will help or not.

They CALLED AGAIN
I called back and asked if my credit was bad, I had a nephew using my address, bad debt and thought the call was for him.
No my credit is GOOD and they want to LOWER my credit rate. I pay off my bills every month-no debt.
DESPITE THE #2 KEY MY NAME HAS YET TO GO OFF THEIR CALLING LIST.

I have been put on the do not call list over 10 times and they still call me EVERYDAY!!!!

they call everyday...i also have tried to take my number off their list without success...I'm at a loss as to what to do about them...when i try to talk to someone they just hang up....any help out there to stop this?

They call me every day.  I changed my phone number, which "supposely" did not belong to anybody, and the next day I start to receive phone calls from this phone number again.  I do not know how they got my phone number because I did not have time to give it to anybody.  I am going to talk to my phone company because anybody could think that they are involved on this.  Otherwise, it does not make any sense.  They call and say if I want to be taken out of the list.  I do not owe anything to anybody.  If I call probably they want to get my name, address, etc, and who knows what else.  I cannot send them a letter as a warning that I am going to take them to court for harrassment, because they do not identify themselves.  They just call to people at random.

These people all me 1-3 times a day.  My number is on the gov. do not call list, and I tried to remove my number dozens of times.  I have also reported this company... but with no luck.  The calls continue.  When I push 1 and get a representive and ask for the name of the company they hang up on me, which is great, I love that...

These people are sleezy no two way about it 5 times in two days. Post anything you can get on them. We need to do away with thes bottom feeders

These people call me 1-3 times a day, at work...  I talked to a representive once and asked for more details on their service.  Even if we were insterested they do not work with corporations, so I asked them to quit calling... instead they call more.

I am on the the do not call list, I believe the website is www.donotcall.gov .  I log a complaint everyday.  Perhaps if we all log a complaint everyday something will be done...  Your number must be registered for more than 30 days to make a complaint.

Recording says press 9 to be taken off the list, but they still call at least twice a day even after pressing 9 every day.  Have also gone to a service person and get hung up on.  

I am on the do not call list but cannot file a complaint yet b/c we haven't been on for 30 days.  I plan on filing a complaint after that time.

On several occasions I have pressed option 9 to be removed from the list and spoken to 3 customer service reps and asked to be removed, which I have documented the dates and times of each as they are calling me at work. The last person I spoke today (7-6-09 at 3:45 pm) told me they could not remove me form the list unless I gave them another number to contact me at.  

I have recieved warnsing from work on recieving personal calls and one more time and I will be written up.  Thankfully my boss was sitting at my desk today and heard me ask them to remove me.

They have called several times--recording.

When you press the "1" you could be validating your phone number. I do not answer those calls.

Put your name and number on the at www.donotcall.gov.

Same company called me from 269-288-0172, the caller ID said "Lower Your PMNT."  I am on the Do Not Call list, and I reported this caller.
