Thanks!!!  Won't answer and I'll block them.....ALMOST called back cuz I have family in michigan and thought it might be emergency.  Amazing how they can get cell #'s. I rarely give this # to ANYONE!!!!

Local scumbags  used 2 call homes posing as security co's so they could determine how easy it would be to break into your house. True story.....actually caught them breaking into a neighbors house in the middle of the day because she had given them enough info 2 convince security 2 let them in. My husband told me 2 tell any security sales call that we already had a system....2 rotties and a 38.  They usually don't call back!!!

I keep getting calls from 269-477-2014, it is a computer generated call.

They keep calling our business and took up ALL 5 LINES. I have told them time and time again to remove us and there's no way of blocking them. They're freakin relentless

SPAM-SPAM-SPAM! Bogus "this is not sales call" - says they were referred to me.  Illegal phone solicitation.

I received their unsolicited call this morning, but I simply don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize.

No message, just constantly get calls from this number.

I've been getting calls on my phone and I need proof that it's Portfolio can u help?

I live in IL. I received a call from this number in MI about Home Security Systems, obviously I did not tell them to not call me under option 2 (it seldom works), so..., option 1 rewards me with a lady who identifies herself as "Abby", when I pressed for more information as to how they got my number, she says that her company uses many "satellite offices to make calls" and that they are located in "Washington State" After trying to continue the questions, she said that her position is as a "call screener" and that I would have to answer 3 questions in order to be transferred to an actual sales rep or company employee. After the first question (Was I an actual home owner?) I am indeed. She declared that I "was being very sarcastic" and then promptly hung up. I will be looking forward to our next call. The car warranty scammers called me so often, that all I had to do was answer they  would recognize my voice, and hang up.

You don't have to post the number they are using... That number is someone else that they are also scamming. Any reports on that number will just get other innocent victims stressed out.

It's been the Home Security Systems sales pitch every time, but a different number after several failed attempts. They do not take notes and do not care about your demands, threats, or concerns. SO, If you are going to answer, then have fun with them!

I have done the phone sales when I was younger, and I know the scams and how they run them. I do however enjoy having a good time with the reps and that brightens my day.

LIFE RULE #1 : The moment someone tells me they are not trying to do something... I immediately know that that is more than likely what they are doing. Especially if they start the conversation that way.

I can tell you that the best way to beat these jerks, hands down the easiest as well, is to waste their time. Have fun with them and act interested. Throw in some oddities on the call. I told a lady that I had to be right back, that some of the kids I had tied up were trying to escape again. ;D

The more you deter these people, the less they make. Once the business is no longer a plausible way to make money, they have no other choice but to move on to the next scam. The best part is this... Once they move on to the next scam, some of them will make mistakes and will get caught. ENJOY!
