    Unsolicited SPAM text: A government funded private institution is offering up to $85,000 in loans for citizens above 30yrs with 0.5% interest rate.

    The message came on a Sunday. That interest rate would not be legal. This is an attempt at fraud.

    I would like to know how you came up with that?  It would be foolish to offer such an interest rate considering that you would be losing money but there is nothing that I know of in the law that would prevent it.
