Called today, caller ID showed Fulton, KY.  last call I got from a similar number in Fulton, KY was some market research firm, now blocked.  Will block this number also.

It is a fake breast cancer charity scam.  Probably same source as 586-221-6997 and other numbers that have called recently.  Want you to donate so poor women can get mammograms, yeah, I bet.

Just received call from this number which showed up on caller ID as CCI wanting money for breast cancer research and mammograms for low income women.  When I told her my story of having breast cancer surgery, radiation and I donate to local breast cancer society, she apologized for bothering me and hoped I would get better................go figure?

Called but as soon as I answered the call I bombed them with the key's # and * (like 300 of them), it did something that sent the call into
an answering system and then eventually a fast busy signal. Haven't called back since. This seems to work with other 'Google/Scam' phone numbers as well. If I see one on my caller ID (pretty easy to recognize) I do the same thing.

Get this call often, no answer, I call back, no answer. Irritating,

Robot that had a long delay and a pronounced my first name. Then it said I was hard to get a hold of.
The robot was not able to understand me though.

unsolicited call... at 8am... caller ID: 'CCI'... no message left... number blocked

I get calls from this number, one very close to it (last three numbers of the phone number), and "toll free call", all wanting me to donate to breast cancer prevention.  Never leaves a message if I don't answer.  I got two from them yesterday, and four of them today!

Fake breast cancer people wanting money to help poor women who can't afford mammograms or treatment. I told her I have breast cancer (and I do) and that I need some help. She told me she was sorry to hear that, wished me well and hung up.

Call identified by Caller ID as CCI.  Asking for money so low income women could get mammograms.  After some investigation, I found that CCI is "Contract Callers Incorporated", a telemarketing company.  They call and ask for donations, take in millions, and then give a tiny portion to the charities that hire them.  It makes a lot of money for CCI, and very little for the people they claim to be helping.

Crooks. When you tell them that you know someone who needs help, they disconnect the call.

Called my landline. I did not pick up, no message was left. Legitimate calls leave a message, imho.
Where are the instrux to that call blocker I bought...

Called ID showed CCI. Don't know any CCI or anyone in the 270 area code. Blocked the entire area code.

Called me,hung up when I answered.Called back said they needed donations for Breast Cancer research.I replied that I needed help as well in 2005 and no one was offering any assistance.My Sister died a few weeks after that,I let her know when they actually do try to help people with cancer I will do the same.She hung up.

I navigated the robot caller. I asked "Who is this?" She said ACC services. I asked for an address. The robot suggested a manager.

Called this number;   Answered "United Breast Cancer Society".   Remember all the calls from American Breast Cancer Society---until the feds took the guy down, but after he had raked in millions.  Used to use a 859 Ky area code.   Guess it's a copy cat scumbag call.       .

Ben getting hammered with these type of calls lately... Most if not all are linked to a telemarketing call centers which once they collect donations for their contract groups, keep a lot of the proceeds collected for themselves and of course the group (non-profit) that hires them also keeps a portion for themselves and what very little might be left would go to the cause they portray to support. This is one of the reasons I will not donate to phone-solicited donation groups. The second reason is because once these call centers get your number in their system as a donor they will call you for each and every group who hires their services, and also sells your phone number out to other call centers too. I keep blocking them, but they have a lot of numbers...
