These type calls will not stop by just complaining here! Scammers can tell your number is valid whether you answer or not.  If they do not get a 'non-working message' or signal from your phone company than it is a working number. So whether you answer and say nothing, answer and hang up, answer and curse them out, let your answering machine answer or just let it ring, they will call back. Everyone with brains knows that the Do Not Call List is just about useless for 95% of scam calls. So what can you do. There is one person 'Whistler' I have read on these complaint boards who answers the calls, gets to a person and uses a whistle or a boat portable distress air horn to try and blow out their eardrums. Like he saids, "does not stop the calls but gives me some satisfaction." How about another approach? Let's complain to the PEOPLE that can do something about this and to-date have sat on their [***] and done nothing.  Call the FTC, your state representative, congressperson, and your local phone carrier each time you get one of these calls.  You want to speak with a person. Call all if you can or pick one.  Tell them you have just got another spam call and how are they going to stop them.  What you are doing is taking up their time.  Just as the spam call took up yours.  Can you imagine how they will like getting thousands of calls a day?  If enough people do this, these people will do something just to stop us from calling them. Perhaps offer them the suggestion to " force the phone companies to give their subscribers the FREE option of blocking all VOIP calls from contacting them".  Most of the major scammers are using a computer to do their calling.  I have been told that VOIP calls can be identified from a regular dialed call.  If all you do is complain on these forums, the calls will continue. So either keep getting them or get off your butts and do something to stop them.  If you think this might work, cut and paste it for others to see every time you complain, post it on your Facebook page and ask your friends to pass it along.  Know anyone at a news program/station, newspaper or anywhere else that you can pass it along to to try and get the message out.  If you have a better idea of how to stop them, post it.  If someone punches you in the face, are you going to let them continue or are you going to fight back?????

I received a call from 276-323-1047 this morning  (8/26/16). I didn't answer as I didn't recognize the name. The caller didn't leave a message. I am adding this number to my YouMail blocked caller list. Stupid spammers!

Verizon store told me about a free app to download, 333 can't call me, its wonderful.  when phone rings and if number not in my phone book or I don't recognize it, press the 333 can't call me app and immediately blocks it.

So you know who the caller is, but you came to a website dedicated to helping people figure out who called them and exposing scammers. Somehow that doesn't quite add up. Out of 7 pages of posts only these 4 on this page mention Liberty Mutual. Why is that?

Just to say that this number is in use again. I didn't answer (I was driving) and they did not leave a voice-mail.

I agree. And don’t say the word yes. This is another scam some people used to record your voice saying yes. “Yes” in your voice can authorize some payment transactions.

I've had many calls from this number before. Never have answered, no message left. Today's call came from a different, similar number: 276-323-2447. CID Appalachia, VA. No message left either. I'm assuming they're now using a new number.

At 12:05 p.m. (EDST) today, received similar call from 276-323-2447. Bada-bing, bada-blocked.
