- JLM| 1 replyUp to 31 calls and messages from this number today, roughly every 10 minutes since about 2pm, each message is a recording with an female Asian accent saying "We strongly suggest you talk to an Apple representative" Please press 1 for an Apple support advisor... Press 2 to hang up". This was all left repeatedly on my answering machine, over and over. I won't answer any of these calls. I don't own any Apple devices or use any Apple software. Obvious scam. I blocked one number, and they change to another.
Most likely some sort of Hijack attempt or scam by the sound of the message and numerous calls.- Caller: "Apple Inc" on CID

- SharonI received 5 calls today (5.23.2018) and a few yesterday on my caller ID. Since someone else said this was actually a real number to a real Apple Store in Friendswood, TX, I looked up their info online and called them directly myself to confirm this. They do have a recording notating that they know their phone number has been spoofed.
I spoke to the voice activated customer service recording (out of curiosity), and then was transferred to an Apple Store representative (Selena) when I told the recorded voice that I received the call on my caller ID, but did not answer it. Selena was very apologetic. She also asked if I had gotten any messages with identifying information from the caller. I did not. But she asked that if I ever did answer the call to please try and get a name, location, and call-back number so that they may further investigate and hopefully remedy the situation quickly. She also said not to give out any personal information whatsoever. We had a quick laugh when I told her the only Apple product I currently have is my Mac 512K I bought used when I was in college back in the late 1980s. She said she bet it still works... and she is right!- Caller: "Apple Inc" on Caller ID, number spoofed from actual legitimate business

- ZenterruptedThis number called at least a dozen times today. Unfortunately, the call does not terminate when an answering machine picks up, but talks over the greeting and fills up the answering machine with the same 'press one, press 2' message others have described. This is the worst repeat offender robo caller I've ever had. They do not stop calling even when you never answer.
- Caller: Apple Inc.
- Chuck replies to JLMAfter 3 calls today, I turned off the answering device on my landline. They called again and it rang 8 times after which they disconnected. I've had no further calls.
- GregAnother scam call from Apple Inc. Yeah, like they hire people with heavy accents from 3rd world countries. This kind of garbage wouldnt happen if the phone companies would disable the ability to spoof phone numbers.
