Based on my experience - your experience may differ - I have no need to block their number,

REASON
I get a call approximately 30 days apart. But it's always a different number. Sometime the caller ID is the same and sometimes they change it.

Surveys are generally exempt from DO NOT CALL.

That is probably why they don't use a spoofed off shore phone number like most of the telemarketers.

But I am just speculating.

Wouldn't you just love to hang them by their feet with their face firmly planted in a nest of fire ants? They're so annoying.

I also had a respite -- two weeks -- from telemarketers.

The last time the calls were more than a week apart was way back in January.

The fact that we both saw a break makes me think all (or most) of the calls are using the same master list of phone numbers to target  and moreover are somehow interconnected in some way.

These losers called my track phone. I also never answer #'s I don't know. They then left a voice message. Will see if I can change my # and will NOT give it out to ANYONE but family-friends. Scum sucking turds.

Changing your # may temporarily help, but the calls are bring dialed by computer, so it is only a matter of time before they get you again. Hopefully the scum sucking turds will soon be food for scavengers and other critters that breakdown decaying biological forms.

They called the house today.  Ignored and they didn't leave a message.

2nd time in 2 days, same time, afternoon. Did not answer it.

Called office, came in on 3rd line; knew it was a scam.  Picked up receiver and said nothing.  Finally after about a minute the call clicked off.  I love wasting their time!

Do yourself a favor and buy a "Digitone Call Blocker". It will block anything that shows up in the digital read out.
After being blocked they will hear 1 ring and get hung up. You will not hear anything any more. I have been using it for 2 years now, and what a relief it has been! Believe me it`s worth the money.

Just got a call on internet phone, didn't answer, left no message.  Based on above comments it's a survey/telemarketer.

Spam do not answer. I have received calls from this number all week. Morning and night. Do not answer them as they are trying to get your information.

Am on do no t call list and want these calls to stop!

They did this for four days to me, thanks to everyone here I at least have some evidence to present to the national no call list, if they do anything at all. the voicemail is a con so you cant tell them off or to remove you so anyone who gets this call should just go straight to national no call and complain. Best answer so far.

This number has called my house several times over the last few weeks.  Today I was home and answered.  It was a pre-recorded message offering a free cruise to the Bahamas if I participated in a survey.  The recording asked me to press 1 to participate in the survey or press 9 to decline and be permanently removed.  I doubt that they've removed my number as much as I doubt they were going to give me a free cruise.

Got a call from 281-381-5470.  On my caller ID it just said TX, which is Texas.  No message was left.  I did not pick up as I do not know who this is at all.

Called on work cell #approx 10am est monday am. Did not answer. No msg left. Only # showed on call screen...

As the other reply said not from AARP!! I am 32 and just got the same call so certainly not targeting the elderly!!

Just got a call with a pre-recorded over-enthusiastic voice saying "Congratulations, you've just been..."
Hung up.
