CID say HEALTH COUNCIL

Called but left no message.  Returned call and auto answer said "Breast Cancer Political Action Committee,  Blocked number.

Just called at 217PM Tuesday. Caller ID said HEALTH COUNCIL.  The recorded voice of a woman asking for donations for breast cancer.

Called while out, left no message. Must not have been important.

Health Council - it’s one of those robo calls that sounds like a real person. Can even answer a few questions. A scam to get a donation under the guise of a breast cancer charity. Remember the call that was a woman saying something about you being harder to reach than the cookie jar - it’s that same voice. I just kept saying “you’re not a real person” until the computer voice finally said I was gonna be put on their do not call list. Lol yeah right

Caller ID states, "Health Council"... Thanks to all above who reported their findings, confirming what we thought, SCAMMERS!  #Make all telemarketing calls illegal!  Including; charities, political calls, surveys, etc.!  Not playing!!!

Caller ID noted: HEALTH COUNCIL _ not familiar _ not answered _ no message was left. As mentioned above: scammers likely.

Caller ID said Health Council. It hung up after two rings.

IDed as Health Council.   Number has called requesting donations for breast cancer research.    Large number of scams ran out of Bay Town - Houston area.    You would think our salary earning government officials would track them down!

They are spoofing a variety of names and numbers, Health council, Breast Cancer etc. including one that spoofed the name of a law firm which had a recording about lowering interest rates. Beware!

Called, asked for me by name.  Then heard the system switch into a recording for breast cancer research and donations. I Hung up...cid said health council

Robocall that sounds realistic but does have problems with understanding answers that it does not expect. Wanting me to commit to a donation of unknown amount and then every time you say "NO" it cycles to a lower amount starting at 30 - 45 and going to 10.Identified themselves as Health Council, a PAC to influence politicians to vote for programs for breast cancer. Internet searches also bring up multiple warnings about the very low returns the charities are getting and that some of the charities are becoming PAC's since there are less regulations and over site. Prefer giving my donations to groups that I have and continue to work with.

Health Council

According to OpenSecrets.org, these calls are from the Community Health Council PAC, dba Breast Cancer Health Council PAC, which is registered as a Super PAC with the Federal Elections Commission.  It has existed for only 6 mos and, so far, has spent its entire income without donating to any candidates or parties. Logical assumption: all income went to "employees" and/or fund-raising.

This is about the third call I've gotten from these individuals they never leave a message. In reading some of the other remarks more than likely it's some sort of a healthcare charity scam.
