The caller called my cell on April 25, 2017 at 6:18 PM EST and hung up right away when answered.

I answered a call from this number today. I was told it was in regards to my credit card. The girl on the line was saying I qualified to have the interest rate reduced. I asked if they were calling from Chase (my card issuer) and the lady said yes so I agreed to be transferred to her "specialist". After a 2-5 second hold an Indian guy greeted me. I don't know if he was was in the US or in India. He again told me I qualified to have my interest rate reduced and wanted me to provide some information. I asked again if this call was from Chase and he said yes. I had my suspicions but decided to play along a bit. I asked him my account number but he could only provide 4 digits. Then I asked if he could tell me my balance. "Over $3000" or something to that effect was his answer. So I asked again if he was from Chase. He said yes yet again. When I asked him to be more specific he couldn't so I told him outright that I didn't believe he worked for Chase. At that point he spoke with the tone of a dog with its tail between its legs. Turns out my suspicions were right. What scumbags.

Received call from this number yesterday. Did not answer - no message was left. Blocked this number.
