    Cable comes bundled with phone, and this number appeared on my TV. It is especially odd as I have never bothered to hook up a landline, and as such have never given out the number. Can't imagine it being no more than phishing

    The party called my cellphone.  It was a repeat call that I had listed in my directory as don't answer.  So, naturally DON'T ANSWER was in the display.  I do not answer unknown numbers with my wireless "no contract" phone.  It is for my convenience, so most of the time it is turned off.
