Caller said she was a project manager from Remax, but in the background it sounded like a telemarketing call center.  They say they are looking for local businesses in our area of california to serve their customers.  Yea sure!

so its a new telemarketing tactics. I'm in flower mound tx, with 972 area code. they use the same area code in their caller ID, but it shows as "out of area".   they call with the same story line about project manager. what they want is like others, get your infomation, and sell it to advertisers and other telemarketing companies as fresh, confirmed and accurate info.
they are bunch of low life, stupid, and lazy people who are not able to get a job at 'burger king' , instead keep calling people.

best thing to do is waste their time, and tell them you'll be right with them and put the phone down for as long as you can do. try to waste their time for at least 5 minutes.

Just got the same call from someone named Ashley saying she is the projects manager for Remax. I didn't answer the phone but heard the message she left behind. I called back but got an answering machine with alot of background noise. Not taking any chances, if she calls back, I just won't answer.

Recd message: Chad Brown, who is the project manager with Re-Max NW in Burlington, WA. Needs a painting bid for a job.  (I run a house painting business).
I called the Re-Max office and they informed me he is impersonating any such person. He has no affilation with Re-Max.
And of course, thanks for the folks who put down the true reason behind these ********** phone calls.

They are not a scam. I owe a business and the company name in question is Right Way Network. They are hired by real estate companies to find vendors. All I did was ask questions and it is a call center when they first pick up because the transfer you to the office handling your area and the companies requests.

nolabizowner obviously works for the company in question and it is beyond his puny little pea brain that people don't want to be bothered with lowlifes who can't get real jobs.

These clowns called me as if they had work for my company. All they do is gather your data and pass it along to other telemarketers which basically gives them permission to call you if you are not on the do not call list.

    Good Luck

They are full of it. When she mentioned my profession she stuttered as if it was a fill in the blank read along and she had to go back and see what she was reading for. Totally reading it.

Got a call from an individual who had received a call from this number stating they were with RE/MAX and was trying to solicit $399 for something.  I told him I had not given anyone his number and RE/MAX was not giving anyones name out for solicitation.  Number kept ringing a bell - had a message this morning - Right Way Networking with this # - they said they needed to send me something from their art dept on things we had discussed a few months ago.  I have never heard of them.

I received a call from a "Project Manager" named "Barbara" with Exit Realty, which is in California, where I live. She rattled off a voicemail about her company looking for a service provider (the exact type of service my small business provides, hmmm) for a project. I didn't even realize the call came from Texas, or I would have known it was bogus. When I called back, the receptionist said she was at lunch. I left a message on her voicemail. When this chick called back, she just launched into a pitch about the slick presentation brochure her company was puting together for all thei prospective clients, and how I would have the golden opportunity to be the only company of my kind to be featured in it (good grief!). After letting her just ramble on for a bit, I finally blurted out, "What's this gonna cost me!?" What? $400?! Go pound sand! Then she chirps that I can break it into two payments of $200. Told her to take me off her list. But wait, there's more...A couple of hours later I received an identical voicemail from "Katy" at the same number - only this bimbo was from ReMax. I left a message telling them to remove me from their g----m list! And I AM registered on the do-not-call registry.

I received a call from a "Project Manager" named "Barbara" with REMAX, which is in Florida, where I live. She started to talk about my computer company would be a great asset to REMAX in the Wilton Manor area to provide home and office computer services for a project. I almost believed her, thank god for my instinct. When a company is looking for you to do there work, they are not going to ask you for money. lucky for me I'm a cheap [***] and after speaking to her I told her I needed to do some research first, before I gie a credit card. I did my google search on this company and found you guys. Let me tell all of you guys something. THANKS. They will not be getting my $400.00 this time. Dodge a bullet there.

I worked there for a day.  The company is called Righway Networking and all they are doing is Googling vendors, for example: Pool & Spa 78217 and calling down the list.  They CLAIM (even to the callers) that its a cherry picked list that the real estate broker gives them, but that is a load of total BS.

I answered the job ad that said that they are looking for project managers.  It's a ma/pa shop that has a shady feel to it.

I regret even calling for them for one day.  Shady.

It is a call center full of telemarketers making commission off of what they sell you which is why they push so hard. It is a bs company full of mostly fake ass people trying to make a buck off of something that fails more often then it succeeds. I'm sure they won't be in business too much longer. Like David said earlier, there are entire lists printed off of Google and another program they use to find vendors in that particular area then lie to the vendor and say that there are only 3 to 4 other vendors for that industry that they have to call... ALL BULLS***!!!

I don't know why everyone is so worked up. Not everything is a scam these days. Yeah they kinda make it sound like they work for the office, but if you ask them directly they tell you they work for Rightway. I actually took a chance with it. (Been scammed before so I was hesitant) I spoke with Sheldon and he was polite, upfront, and honest. The folder turned out nicely and the Remax office was friendly and receptive. Definately got my money's worth.
