Michea, from this number, scammed me out of $1785.00, with a fraudulent cashiers check.  We texted each other multiple times.  S/He was pretending to be interested in buying a brass bed from me, listed in Craigslist.

This guy, Michael, tried the same thing with me. He offered me a cashiers check for what i was selling on craigslist. I read Zoe's review and i mentioned it to him. He told me he isnt a scammer so i sent him the link to this page and i never heard back from him. Seemed WAY to easy of a sale. Dont do business with him.

same thing just happened to me regarding a bed/dresser/mirror that i just listed today. Offered me more than I was asking as i had multiple offers. Didnt seem right, and then i found your messages. Scary

Texted me today asking what my bottom dollar was on an item I had listed for $400. Suspecting a scam I told them $1000. They didn't text back for some reason. Odd.....

This  guy just tried to scam me out of $1890.  So glad I looked this info up and you posted your awful experiences.

Wanted to send a cashiers check for an item on craigslist. Too many details. Tried to call # right after text & no answer. Times must be tough my item was only 75 but they offered 85. Texted back could only accept cash. Was very suspicious & found this post.

This guy micheal is a scammer  just tried to buy a dodge fender from me binged his phone # and saw that many other people know mike in a very bad way!!!Donot trust!!!

Placed my 1st ad ever on Craigslist and within minutes received a text from this same clown asking for my bottom line price.
I told him to  make an offer and he responded that  my listed price was acceptable.
He said he would send a check and after its cashed, and I have my money he will send his "movers" to pick it up. He said he was so busy at  work he could not even find time to check out my item.
(I don't know why he needed movers to pick up a guitar).
I told him I was no dumb rookie, if he wanted the item he needed to bring CASH and we will meet, in person, at my local Police department where I will be amongst friends.
If this was acceptable he needed to text me, if not don't reply.
Never heard another word.

I also received a text f on this number wanting me to accept a cashiers check for a computer and he would sent someone to pick it up later SCAM stay away from this person
