It's TSTA on behalf of the Tx State Troopers Association seeking donations. I am not sure if it's legit or not.

Kim above on 08/30/2016. It's not legit. No legitimate charity raises $s by cold calling potential donors. The fund raising costs are too high. The telemarketers take most or all of the $s. If you want to help law enforcement or first responders, please find a legitimate charity.

I think your right and the donation does nothing for your city.

If you want to support area LEO's, consider the 100 club. Although not perfect, they are legit, as are some others. The Texas Attorney General has warned about TSTA, TPOA and others.

They are persistent and leave no message.  Not a robo call.  Caller i.d. is TXST ASN.  They also call from 281-624 4524 AND 4561.  I think they are scammers but I don't know that.  I consider it harassment when someone calls multiple times and never leaves a message.
