There is always an Attourney but they never let you talk to him/her

These people are so totally evil robin is belligerent will talk over you and totally treat the common person like trash.

The one that was nasty to me wasn't Robin it was some lady that calls herself a para legal. I'm filing a complaint against that person in Texas and Utah where that Pllc is located. Treating someone the way that lady did is in direct violation of the fair debt collection practice act

Ya those people are terrible. I filed a complaint with the BBB and federal trade commission who told me not to pay them. The BBB wrote back saying i have a reason and a case to purse legal action against them.

I received a call from them and do remember taking a pdl but i want to do my home work. I also called BBB and they have this company as legit. I goggled Texas Bar Association and it shows this is a law firm, but their specialty is collections. Mackenzie, my question is how can BBB and TBA say they are legit to me and tell you to sue them. Does that mean i dont have to pay this loan? Can i avoid paying this loan, if so can you tell me how i can get around it.

When I called they said their calls were recorded; but I was not talked to rudely I just want to know how can I avoid paying. I did call checkNgo and they told me about my contract. I'm worried I gave out my check and they said they have a copy. What do I do now? I can count on you!

I received a call from this company and I use to be a debt collector so I understand the laws as well, I really want to resolve this because I want to clean up my credit as well as stop owing people. However my biggest problem is making sure I pay the right person, I was reference to call Lighthouse who referred me to Brithe & Assoc. but I'm not the type of person to go blogging writing bad things when I know I owe a bill I just want to make sure I paying the right company. I dont understand why write things if you know you owe. I just want validition that it's the right company. BBB verified it is valid and TBA did to so what are you saying they arent legit why.

McKenzey, do you have any payday loans? Why did they call you? Please help. I want to pay, but you seem to make some powerful statements. larry who did you talk to seems your story is contradicting. I got a messg but I havent called back do we pay or just keep lying to get out of this. My friend lied on a company in AZ but they recorded all the calls and they got him for defamation of character the atty sued him so I just want to be honest, Im not going to say I was treated badly  but i dont have money to pay, what can I do?????

I do not know what you people are talking about, I'm taking a Business class and actually studying the FDCPA; I have never red a section where this law protects those who do not pay their debts. I've never red where it is stated that you can pay what you want to pay. When you go in for a payday loan, a bulk amount of money is paid to you in less than two hours.How can you propose to pay back $15.00 per month and how long are you going the clear the loan?
I take loans for my education and I pay back. Do you want the financial institutions to close down? or to stop helping the society?. Before the debt collectors call you, you must have refused to pay the financial institution.

Debt or no debt these people and other collection agencies don't have the right to demean the people they call like the way that lady talked to me. Payday loan companies are the scum of the earth that take advantage of poor people

Im not a expert, brithe and assosciates just pissed me off enough for me to make calls. Check your credit report cause the BBB and the federal trade commission recommended this. I did and there was no record of anything with brithe and assosicates or white house recovery on my credit report so i was told to ignore it. Brithe and associates is a legit law firm but the law firm has a seperate office from the debt collections. I dont know where the law office is located but it has a completely different area code. I was told i could take legal action cause the collection office was claiming to be timi when they werent. All i can say is make sure u have proper paper work and ask them to send it to u not just email. U can use ur own address or have it sent somewhere else for u to pick up later. If u made payments before this paper work should show it and check ur credit report. If they are on ur credit report unfortunately u may have to pay. Do money order, never give them ur debt card. They will turn nasty and say they cant accept mail ins but by law they must. Good luck.

I never said brithe and associates wasnt a law firm, they are, but they are two different sites! And yes they pissed me off. How can i talk to three timis in one day....and then i finally got fed up and looked timi up at the texas bar website. Called her up, which was a completely different number and spoke to her! These women were clearly breaking the law by impersonating themselves as timi. Even giving her bar number. This was why i was told i could take legal action. I asked for paper work and they emailed me some piece of crap. So i asked if they could send this in the mail for me, two months later and still no paper work. I asked an attorney if the paper work they emailed was legit and he looked it over and said no, there was no original amount or any record of any payments made on what they sent me. I called back and asked if they couldt send this to me, after being yelled at and talked over for a while they said i never made payments of course i laughed cause i realized they didnt have any original info on me, i did make payments. This is all im saying i will not visit this site anymore cause it obvious that representatives from brithe and associates are starting to show up at these sites. I believe Minerva is one of them or he thinks he so educated he must be heard. And no this debt isn't mine which is why it isnt in my credit report. And by the way yes as debtor u do have rights. Look it up and do ur research. Collectors cant threaten or impersonate as a attorney, etc.

Britt and associates has called my father in law and then called me trying to collect a debt that isn't even on my credit report wanting my bank card number I won't give it to them they keep lowerin the amount for what trhe loan was. At first they wanted to pay the full amount then split it into 2 payments then lowered the amount from a grande to 950

They treat you horrible just because they think you didnt pay back a debt.There are no debtors prisons in the USA. The most they can do is get a judgement against you.But I doubt any attourney in Texas or Utah is going to come to the East Coast to sue you when they already know that you have no money.

Its a legal stealing scam you are doing if you don't feel obligated to pay something back.  Its so sad people can borrow money and never pay anything back as if they never asked for the loan. I agree everyone should be treated with respect and dignity but to have someone make up malicious lies and say that Brithe Ass isn't a Law Firm is defamation of character to the attorney and the firm. If anyone had any doubt research Texas Bar and SOS also BBB.  I do work for the firm and there is no debtor jail and I'm pretty sure no one was told that. Mrs. Ogun is a strict lawyer and their compliance department monitors everything. In my knowledge in collections or litigation people come to this forum to get out of paying debts, to make companies look like the bad guys when in truth its the right thing to do. Also McKenzie our job isn't to put this on your credit report its the creditors job. Its really sad that you have to come this forum daily to try and sabotage a company because you owe a bill. There is always someone you can talk to besides the person you had a problem with. I also realize everyone that owes a bill wants to pay a their leisure not putting themselves in the creditor position and remembering the original agreement. I wish everyone well in resolving any debts they have. Its really sad that the same people are coming this this forum daily just to be negative maybe I'll talk to Mrs. Ogun and see how we can trace the emails and see who is trying to deliberately ruin her good name as well as law firm.

As a last resort and plan to pay them back but sometimes life gets in the way. Health problems homelessness job loss . Thier accounts get overdrawn or the bank closes the account on them but you payday loan collectors can't see these things happen you are just so fast to be mean and treat the common man like a criminal . It's sad how this happens

And it's not daily it's once a week. And it's kinda strange how your company will never put the attorney online to talk
