Called about a dinner reservation for a restaurant nearby that I had not known about 'til she called.

Claimed to be from a Vacation Rental company, declined to ask name.

Found location of phonecall to be frome Alvin, Texas.  Weird place to call from for a place here. I was 4 states away from her location

Someone has called twice from this number in the last 5 days.  They don't even wait for the answering machine.

Caller ID just says Texas.

They need to stop calling

Total scam. I live in CT and they said calling from Texas when I asked. Said I had free dinner for 2 and reservations and dinner reserved in my name at a popular pizza/Italian restaurant. I happen to know owners who knew NOTHING ABOUT a Texas company doing a promotion. They are contacting consumer protection agency and atty general. Suspect they are tring to get personal info.

Another lowlife calling with a scam

Three calls in three days, rings twice, then hangs up.  I never responded to the calls.

I am so sick of these calls.  This makes me want to cancel our land line.  They call every day 3 and 4 times a day.  I do not answer them.  

This was a call made by Choice Research Group for Gold Crown Getaways about a timeshare presentation at local restaurant.
Phone number is NOT valid, but the telemarketer did give me the company website - www.choiceresearchgroup.com where I found the following information -

Please call and harass them....they actually will talk to you....or at least waste their time and maybe they will go out of business.

I wasn't going to answer, but saw "Alvin" (did not see TX) and since I had a few minutes to waste, I answered on the third ring. Is this _____? Me:"Why? Who is calling?"  Is this the _____ residence? Who needs to know? My name is Bob--my phone ID says Alvin---my name is Bob-- Well, Bob or Alvin or whoever you are, I don't have time for a Scam today..... "Have a good day ma'am!"  "I intend to, and do as long as I do not receive any more calls  like this one."
