I have several stange numbers, including this one calling my cell all the time.  Once I know they are scams/sales I add them to my contacts under "Sales Calls" and "Dont Answer" and give them really quiet ring tones so they are easier to ignore and avoid.

I got four calls from this number in the last two days.  I never answer or call back unkown numbers.  I put the number in my contacts a SCAM.

This number belongs to Portfolio Recovery Services.  They are based out of Houston. I found this information out today. They are striving to collect on a debt from 2003!!!  Texas law states that the statute of limitations is 4 years to collect credit card debt.

I spoke with the Attorney General's Office, here in Texas, and the Office of Consumer Credit Commission, today. I was advised that the statute of limitation is 4 yrs. on a credit card debt. I filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office online, reported this agency to the donotcall.gov list and have been advised to file a complaint with the FTC under the fair debt collections act.  The debt they are striving to collect upon is from 2003 and 9 yrs. later all of a sudden Capital I, who sold my debt to this agency, is striving to collect. Know your rights and fight back!!!

A man called my cell stating that if we allowed his company to put a sign on our front yard, we would receive a "free" GE security system. I told him we already had a security system and he hung up. The "Do Not Call" list is just another political waste of time...oh we did something to appease the voters but on just a superficial examination, it is just another costly boondagle that serves no real purpose.

They called and then another number called immediately after that: 360-529-6156. Note that they are both telemarketers!

I returned the call and after several rings a recorded message started saying Thank you for calling them back. That the call was from a marketing organization and I could press 1 at anytime to added to the companies "DO NOT CALL" list. Very painless experience.

I get this ring every week with no voicemail. Don't know this number.

Answered the call by mistake since it's a local but no one answered. Now I no why. Thanks for the info. It's on my blocked list.
