Automated voice.  stating that 'Service Canada' has filed criminal charges against you (not named), and that the 'Department of Justice' filed criminal charged against your 'Social Insurance Number'

Oh whats wrong with this.
First, if the Government of Canada is calling you, the caller id would identify them and not just show some number.
Second, "Service Canada provides Canadians with a single point of access to a wide range of government services and benefits. We are committed to improving services ..." (taken directly from the Gov't website)
Third, the department of justice would be after a person not a social insurance number.

Didn't answer, checked the bogus message,  didn't fall for it for 1 second.
DEFINITELY IS A SCAM.  SOMEONE IS AFTER YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION, TO STEAL YOUR IDENTITY.

Don't fall for it.
