Called and asked for the owner then hung up

Caller asks for the Boss by 1st name- we have several people who have the same name so i asked for the last name she was looking for- Caller gave it, and then when i asked where she was calling from she answered in an annoyed tone that she was "Sheila? calling regarding a "3 year government contract"... these calls are so freaking suspicious i dont understand how anyone even makes money off doing them anymore.

Silent call, no one spoke.  I hung up after a few silent seconds.

To Gatekeeper. You probably work for a small government contractor. I get about 2-3 calls a week about this. I’ve tried being mean and also nice. In the ten years I have been in this business it has never stopped.

Me too. Get these at LEAST once a week if not more often. Sometimes asks for boss, sometimes not.
So annoying.

Loud Margie Simpson's sister sounding voice asked for the owner by first name only. Explained he was on another call and offered to transfer her to his voicemail. "I'll just CALL BACK LATER"!!!  and hung up on me.

Caller asked for boss by first name - I asked for last name and couldn't give it. Very loud and demanding conversation.  Asked if someone else could help, he replied no, just the boss. Took call back number 412-404-6235 x1004

Same.  Super vague caller pitching a "3 year government contract" to "grow business".  When I asked what the company did the caller replied "consultants".  I responded that we currently don't have the need for government contracts (my company does not manufacture/produce anything), and would likely not be a good fit, a secondary question was asked as to whether the company did "IT", which we do not.  The caller thanked me for my time and hung up.  Likely a either telemarketers or scammers cold calling.

When I asked "Rain" if this was a service for fee she was calling about or offering she got super snotty when I explained our owners would not pay for the "Government No Bid" 5 year contract.  Rain then hung up. The location that appreared on my system was V62213302400.  I wish they would stop
