    They claim to be from Pepco which is what my electric provider is. They said that since I've been a customer for I qoute "a long long time", that I could get my rates reduced. I'm immediately new it was a scam. Kinda scary because they knew my name and address. I then hung up.

    These clowns called 3 times in a 2 hour period.  "is BGE your electric provider"?  Really aggressive scam artists --
    heavy foreign accent.  I gave them a fictitious name to call (told them we are just visiting) -- the name and number I gave him was another scam artist's.  Pitas.
