Came in as CCI.  No message left.

Called from same number, but CID read FREDERICK CIRCU, which I think might mean Frederick Circuit Court.  I live in Frederick County, MD, but the court has no reason to call me.  However, this is not a number at the court building, but it *is* a number used by fraudsters and spammers, according to other reports. Further, CID says the call came in at 7:54 p.m., long after office hours.  No message left.

8/10 call came under CCI, same day it was changed to Frederick Circuit.  Same number 301-298-8088 appears to be scam.  Call every day

I don't know why the circus would call me.  I'm not a politician.

Called again today at 103p.  No message left.  BTW there is a well-known scam where the caller represents themself as a representative of a court, demands to know why you didn't show up for jury duty, and threatens you with arrest.  When you protest that you received no jury summons, they suddenly get all helpful and ask for your social security number so they can straighten everything out.  Beware!

Good you posted the whole story.  This is a new scam in parts of the USA, and the sad thing is that it sometimes works.

Call was from the Frederick News Post (newspaper for Frederick County Maryland) offering to deliver free Sunday inserts  to your home.  Guessing the Frederick Circu that others are seeing on their called ID is Frederick Circulation.

They have called me several times, but don't leave a message.  I used to get the paper but stopped because of delivery issues.  Not likely to get people to subscribe if they don't know why you call.

Frederick Circu has been calling here, multiple times a day. We don't live in Frederick City or County.  I did actually answer one day, and there was nobody on the line. Interesting about the scammers pretending to be from the Court system, and offering to help you out of the mix-up, if you provide your SS#!

Have received multiple calls from this number, never a message left. Six total beginning in Dec. 30th and the last one 3/9/2017 at 2:55. It comes up as Circuit Court but is not a number for them and I have no pending business in court.

Called 1:15pm on 1 22 2018. CID showed Frederick Circuit. when I said hello there was dead silence then the caller hung up

This number has called my office twice in an hour.  Nothing said - just silence then hangs up.  I can't wait to get the scenario you describe.  This is going to be fun.  I love scam calls!
