- HHI received a phone call November 18, 2013. I didn't answer my phone and they didn't leave a voice message. Today November, 19 2013 I received a phone call at 9 AM I went to answer but my phone battery died. Then again today at 10:45am I received a phone call and I answered it. There was a woman asking for me by my first and last name asking if i was in charge of paying the electric bill. She said i was refered by (a name i know) So, if they are calling your cell phone or home phone its because your dear family members or friends are giving out your number. She wanted to know who my electric company was. She said she could get my rates lower for at least 12 months. I told her the phone she is calling is only for my child who is in the military to contact me at. She then said, "well oviously it isnt because (a name i know) has it!" I asked her if she would take me off of their list. After I asked her to remove my number she kept talking and asking why I wouldn't want my bills lowered. Then when I said, "I appreciate what you are doing for others but I'm not interested." She then made a rude noise like she was disgusted and ticked off at me. She didn't say anything else and she

- HHI posted above on November 19th. Today is 11-21-2013 and I just received a call from Jamaica. Never in all these years that I have had this number have I ever gotten a call that wasn't immediate family or close friends. Since my name and number was referred to Protocol Communications I am receiving calls outside the USA. By the way they want to give you a price and lock that price in for a year per kilowatt for electric. If the price rises or lowers you still pay the price you've been locked into. Now my # is out there for all to call. Augh! So wrong in so many ways!

- Dr.Jay| 2 repliesCaller ID says Protocall Communications. I have no idea if this is real because there was no one there when I answered one time in the past. They have called my office every weekday, and often 2-3 times a day since January. I'm starting to get really pissed off. If you call the number back it says it's a call center in MD and that you can be put on the do not call list. How bad does your telemarketing scheme have to be that you have a prerecorded message about a do not call list?

- pc boston replies to Dr.Jay| 1 replyid as protocall c... no message but it seems another energy supplier calling for business. If it's not solar, cheap
elec or gas or whatever they are calling for. These small energy companies offer just billing from what I can
determine, but no services when you run in to trouble. - pc boston replies to pc bostonid as protocall again. I read some of the earlier posts and it seems there are several of these scam energy companies involved. And billing set-up off shore. Bad news. They will drain your account on the very first
transaction. - HolmesThis is a real company. They're not malicious or fraudulent, they're just really, really dumb.

- MattThem (fifth time calling me TODAY): "We are confirming an appointment for Monday"
Me: "I didn't make one. Please take me off your list."
Them: "We don't have a list, this is a benefit for you sir!"
Me: "I'm happy, I don't want anything. I'm not interested."
Them: "Let me explain why you should be interested!"
Me: "I'm even more not interested"
Them "Let me tell you about the lower rates you could be getting!"
Me: "No, not interested."
..........
...... (said not interested 10 more times)

Then the woman started raising her voice at me like it was my fault, so I gave an empty threat and told her I'd pursue legal action if I was ever contacted again, and she hung up.- Caller: Constellation Energy
