Texted me saying my account has been listed as refusal to pay, they are sending documentation to my physical address as well as my employer bh a certain date.

I received a message as well. Did anyone call the number provided because I haven't but was about to but decided to google the phone number first.

It's ridiculous because I've been trying to understand is

I called the num. on the text and they told me it was for an old account I had which is now in collections. Text seemed fishy but they had all of my information and it was something I took out in college just never paid. Got it taken care of with Jason and now its not on my credit..

I called it was IFM and they are collection agency, was able to set up payments with them and take it off my credit report.

Got the same text message call back# 833-822-1034. SCAM DEBT COLLECTION AGENCY. Funny how the 2 previous comments from "Jesse" and "Lisa" say basically the same thing, were posted on the same day, both list "IFM" as the caller and both comments were generated by the IP ADDRESS!!! Stupid Scammers

"Jesse" and "Lisa" were most likely the same shill posting to try and make the scam texts appear to be "legit".
The claims like

are a dead giveaway they are shills, because the entry on one's credit report will stay until it is seven years old.  The only thing that would change is it will be noted as 'paid'.
About the only thing the shill stated that is true is that if you call them, they will tell you that you (supposedly) have a very old debt that is unpaid.
