this guy is a HUGE scam.....the first number he gave me was: 310-577-7105 and after that number was not a working number he gave me this number: 301-577-7123  

I am in the midst of emails with him right now and have called my local police. I am waiting to hear back from them to find out what they feel I should say to him or do with the information that he gave me. Someone has to stop this guy!   I received a check for $2500 the other day and have not cashed it, thinking from the beginning this guy sounded slightly strange.  Every email I've seen people post are almost exact to what I've gotten as well.   $2500 for a $200 coffee/end table set....gimme a break!

I received a call from a gentlemen responding to an Ad I placed on craiglist who wanted me cash a check which he sent through mail.  Strangely, the check he sent was for $2000 and the bill was $500.  He asked me to give the change to the courier.  Unfortunately I fell for the scam.  Although he left this number on my answering machine, the number on my caller id was a florida number.  When I contacted the police, I was told that Yvonne Tazem filed a report that her number was being used for fraud and she was forced to change her number because of this guy.  I don't think it is fair to put her name on the website.  The police also told me that she called several people to warn them not to do business with this guy because he was using her number to do fraud.  This is a terrible example of identity (telephone) fraud.

I just did some investigations as to the owner of this number and found out that Yvonne Tazem hasn't used this number since January 2009.  I discovered that she had to change her number to a non listed number because this guy was using her number for fraud.  Apparently, this guys is randomly selecting numbers for his fraud.  We have to be very careful and follow the old saying, "if it seems to good to be true then it is not true!"
