Listed as Spam and Unbound 3 on the CID. This is possibly a local Jewish agency calling for donations; I mistakenly answered a call from a similar number last week and the caller identified himself as calling for donations from a local Jewish social agency here in the DC area. My wif e has donated in the past but always from mailed solicitations. A good charity has stooped to using spamming boiler room tactics No more donations.

DNC does not apply to charities. But never respond to phone calls. Scammers do phone calls. Rely on the charity's website or hardcopy mailings. Also with charities you can use Charity Navigator to see if they suit your wishes. One "charity" that shows up on Twitter on accounts I follow does not meet the standards of CN and they do not comment on it. p.s. ever heard of phone number spoofing?
