Push# 1 if not pick #2! Sounds scammy. Repeated same over and over filling answering machines capacity.

Received this call for my husband.  Said it was some lab wanting to verify my mailing address.  I hung up.  I wasn't expecting anything from any lab and wasn't about to give my address out to someone too lazy to look it up.

It's LabCorp, and it's a legit call.

I got this call as well, from an automated system, telling me to call back and use this invoice number as my "billing information" was incomplete. The caller ID said Labcorp, and I did recently have some blood work done as part of a routine physical, so I didn't think it was out of the ordinary. When I called back, the automated system asked for my invoice number and zip code, then asked me how I'd like to make my payment, I think it was press 1 for credit or debit card and 2 for Medicare, something like that. No indication of what that payment was. I pressed zero to speak to a representative, they asked for my date of birth, which I entered, then they put me on hold and I hung up. Labcorp is indeed a legitimate company, but this is an odd way to handle payment for any bills that my insurance company may not have covered. I have yet to receive any kind of invoice from these folks. Maybe it was legit, but It sure could be construed as trying to trick someone, especially a senior, into parting with their credit card information.

I just started receiving these calls to my office number, claiming to be LabCorp. I recently visited an urgent care facility but paid for services on that evening. The clinic verified that the bill is PAID and that they do NOT work directly with LabCorp. The asked that any correspondence from the person on the phone be put on paper and mailed to me so that I can fax it to the clinic. Still haven't received anything in the mail after a conversation with the caller over a week ago, so I'm assuming this is a SCAM.

You forgot all the bills they mailed you asking for payment? Wow, good thing they called & cured your debt amnesia.

It was from Lab Corp. They called and left a voice about an overdue bill. They left the invoice number and I was able to look up the bill online.  I found out my bill was sent to the wrong address.

Good attempt there, shill. I see you had a ready answer for my question to a previous shill. So answer this one: why did you look up the number when you know who called? Do you often look up known phone numbers?

Let us see.  We have 4 people who were billed incorrectly?  Wait, make that 5 since the other poster is not part of this scam.  Every time I get lab work done, they verify my name, DOB, my insurance company, my address, phone number and emergency contact.  Yet here we have an outfit that routinely does not do that and sends bills to the wrong address.  Well first off that would be a HIPAA violation since they are releasing medical information to someone else without your express permission.  Sorry, but your mother should have told you to never lie.  Your story holds as much water as a boat made out of Swiss Cheese.

Got the same routine - wanted me to call back about an invoice.   I did use them, 3 months ago.  Glad I looked here, no intention of calling them without a reciept mailed.
