They left me a recorded message saying that there was a a complaint against me and that I would be serve at my home or work place.  Thay also gave me a file number and at the end, that I was officially notified. They never identify themselves.  This sound like pure scam to me. Any other complaints????

It is a pure scam.   A phone call is not legal notification of anything.   No legitimate process server calls you up and lets you know in advance that they are coming by.

Just because someone on the phone calling you says you owe a debt does not mean you actually owe it.

If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:

1.    Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2.     Demand a debt validation letter by US mail.  E-mail no good.
3.    Do not pay  the collection agent or anyone else a  dime until the debt is validated

Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply ignore them and block their calls.

If they are bothering you, report them:

If they continue to bother you,  and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.

You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them.  Tell 'em  no scammy debt collector is going to push you around.

You have to get tuff with these people because,  being akin to thugs, brute force is (metaphorically speaking).   the only thing they understand.

I get ones stating the same thing.

I got the same message; however they knew my bank and that I am in bankrupcy, chapter 13 and stated I am not protected under bankrupcy, 13. I do not remember taking a pay day loan from this organization.

I have been getting these calls off and on for a year. I have blocked them from my cell phone, but they continue to call my employer. I am reporting them. This is a complete scam.

Yes I just got the same call this morning and when I clicked to talk to someone they it played music for a couple secs and then hung up on me

I received a call at my job this morning. The call came in through our switchboard and was transferred to my office. How can I stop these degenerates from calling my job? They said the had a complaint against me

I just received the same exact call while on the switchboard at work.

Same thing says I owe money for a payday loan from 2010 never pulled a payday loan in my life .... So sick of these people calling they even called my sisters in laws!!!!!! Ridiculous

They are having a busy march! Why is there no way to stop them..

I received a call from them as well. Same thing, there was a complaint that would be served at home or place of employment, gave the file number, and told me that I was officially served. It appears to be a Delaware number. This is definitely a scam. Don't call back or offer ANY information.

They are calling all the numbers on my family account stating theses same things and when I call and speak with them they are very rude. If they cant get any money out of you they are very short and hang up.... I wish there was a way to file a claim against them.

Who are you filing the report with? I need to the same.

Just got that message too today. Ignored it with eyes rolling. Some people are so gullible enough to bite into this that they will be scammed.

Supposed law suit and will be calling job and home!
