Continous calls from this number to my cell phone - concerning credit card

Just got my first call from this number.  I googled the number as my phone was ringing and came to this site first.  Knew it was spammers before the phone stopped ringing.  Thank god for this site!   Hope they dont call anymore, how the hell did they get my #, ugh.

Regarding the assorted "I don't know how they got my cell #..." comments:

It's called an auto-dialer. Calls are placed 100 or more lines at a time using a computer.  They don't need your number- they simply call every 0000-9999 combination in a given exchange till they get a few that hit.

Bonus points: "Pressing 1" does not usually connect you to an operator because they only have a few live people actually handling the calls vs. the thousands of calls made. Some people are just going to get dropped because there is no live person available. However, it does VERIFY that the phone number is valid... making it much more valuable when it is then re-sold to other scammers.

The number you see on your caller ID is spoofed; it is not their real number, so please stop harassing whatever poor business had their identity stolen.

Automated sales call that is misrepresented.

Answered call and got notified that if I was interested in lowering my credit card rate, this was my last notification. I hung up.

I didn't pick up, but I know nobody in Delaware

ha ha nice i called back to cause i was not present at the time of the call but yea it said "not found in our data base" but the wierd thing is iv been getting alon of callas from these guys

I am waiting on a call from the president of Rock X Records regarding my band playing a very important show that could mean our careers. I'm excited. And every damn time my phone rings, it's this or another number telling me that "this is my final notice. I could lower my credit rating. Blah blah blah". I'm 16 years old. I DON'T HAVE A CREDIT RATING. Stop soliciting my phone line. Why the hell is this scam not illegal?

Uhg, ANOTHER one of these scams?! This is the 3rd or 4th call I've got on my cell phone like this in the past couple months. They're all different numbers, but the call is exactly the same.

It's a scam.  Pretend to be a collection agency or something related.  Don't even take their calls.  Don't press 1 or even talk to them.  The less they phish from you the better.

I got this call at work on my work phone.  Recording said her name was Rachel and I could press one to speak with someone.  I wanted to let them know that this was a business number.  After eight rings a woman picks up the phone and says "Business Services".  I polietly say "this is a business line please do not call this line". She says "I DID NOT CALL YOU B***H!" and hung up the phone.

Good tip, add number  to the cell phone reject list.Great app.

Wanted to lower interest rate on credit card type of call. I received maybe about 10 of these calls. twice today within hours.

I kept pressing 1 to get more info about them. I say the wrong answer they hang up. Anyway this last call was during my nap and I was pissed off I pressed 1. The guy on the phone said "Hi so you are interested in lowering your interest rate on your credit card"
Then I said "No i'm not interested in your scam so stop f'king calling me" then the guy said something I have no idea and hung up.  
Yes they are very rude, I read one of stories on here about one saying "I didn't call you bi*ch".
If they keep calling...that's fine. I'll play them.
